Yet another own goal—first Cameron now May…I thought surrealism was a Belgian invention.

That’s a statement from E.U. Brexit negotiator and slow burn master Guy Verhofstadt, June 8, 2017, regarding the results of the recent U.K. election—though I’d like to think the word applies just as well to the news of the day.
